Description

The 41st Seki Sea Bream Fishing Dance Festival will be held on September 14, （ Saturday ） from 6:00 p.m. at Fureai Plaza, Saganoseki Civic Center.

Dancers from the local community and corporate ・ groups will join in a spirited dance to the tune of the "Seki Sea Bream Fishing Song," which has been sung by fishermen in Saganoseki since the Genroku era, wishing for a bountiful catch.

In addition, the 6th Seki Sea Bream Fishing Song ・ Japan's Best Contest will be held in the assembly room of the Saganoseki Community Center from 10 p.m., and from noon, a traditional oar boat （ Japanese-style boat ） will be used to compete at the Saganoseki Fishing Port （ at the Oita Prefectural Fishermen's Cooperative Association Saganoseki Branch cargo handling （ facility ）. The "30th WOC （ World Oshizome Classic ） Oshizome Festival" will also be held at the facility.
