財務事務所や銀行員をかたった者等から「旧紙幣と新紙幣を交換します。」、「新紙幣発行に伴いATM機が新しくなります。そのため、現在のキャッシュカードが使えなくなるので交換します。」などと連絡があり、犯人が自宅にお金やキャッシュカードを取りに来てお金等を盗まれたりする被害が発生するおそれがあります。
新紙幣発行後も、現在の紙幣は使えます。
新紙幣に関する不審な電話やメール、訪問があった場合は、家族や警察に相談しましょう。
